Local business Island Roads launches the new Highway service for the Island.

After nearly three years of working with the Isle of Wight Council and local organisations to develop the eagerly awaited new Highways service, today sees Island Roads take on the responsibility for upgrading, maintaining and enhancing the Island’s public roads, footways, cycleways, street lighting, public car parks, CCTV, signage and bridges and structures. The highway service also includes street cleansing, winter maintenance, drainage and network management. more >
